Meet the Greenfleet Board

The Greenfleet Board is composed of leaders from a wide variety of academic, commercial and sustainability backgrounds.

This broad experience helps ensure Greenfleet remains a purpose-driven, sustainable organisation that continues to take effective action on climate change.

  • Jorge Chapa, Chair

    Jorge Chapa is the Chief Impact Officer at the Green Building Council of Australia. Through this role, Jorge aims to deliver healthy, resilient, and positive places for people and nature. 

    With over 8 years of Board and Governance experience, Jorge brings a wealth of knowledge from many areas including ESG reporting, sustainable finance, sustainable design, and social equity to his role as Director on the Greenfleet Board.

    Jorge has a degree in architecture from the University of Monterrey in Mexico and a Master’s in Design Science from the University of Sydney.

    Jorge became Chair of the Greenfleet board in May 2026.

  • Jenica Brooke, Deputy Chair

    Jenica Brooke is a Chartered Accountant with deep experience in financial governance and risk management. After completing a double Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Commerce, Jenica has worked across many organisations within the aviation, travel and eCommerce industries. 

    Since 2020, Jenica has worked as a senior finance advisor at the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) and has Board experience within both not-for-profit and for-profit organisations. 

    Along with her experience, Jenica has a passion for sustainability and the environment and is committed to delivering good governance and integrity in business decision making.

  • Dominique Hes, Director

    Dominique received a science degree in Botany from Melbourne University and followed this with a Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Cleaner Production) and a Doctorate in Architecture 2005 from RMIT University, Melbourne. 

    Her key research questions are: 'why, when we have been 'doing' sustainability for so long, are we having an ever-increasing impact?', 'People create such beauty with music, food, art, buildings and community why is it so difficult to be a thriving part of the earth's systems?' and 'How can the built environment be part of this thriving?' As such she has looked at biomimicry, biophilia, regenerative design, permaculture, regenerative and positive development. This resulted in the publication of the award-winning book 'Designing for Hope: Pathways to Regenerative Sustainability', co-authored with Professor Chrisna du Plessis. Her continued research centres on how to create a built environment that is good for people and nature. 

    Dominique was Chair of the Greenfleet board between 2021 and 2026.

  • Belinda Hudson, Director

    Belinda Hudson is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has a passion for working with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to help them grow. 

    After completing her Bachelor of Accounting, Belinda gained a wealth of experience across different financial positions. Belinda works at William Buck where she is currently a Director specialising in compliance & advisory work within the health services industry and not for profit industries.  She has held a previous Board position with a Not for Profit Association.

    She has extensive knowledge in taxation and accounting and finds great satisfaction in working with clients to grow their businesses and wealth.

  • Graham Ross, Director

    Graham Ross has over 30 years of experience in the commercial property sector with a strong focus on sustainability. Since then, Graham has become active within the not-for-profit space, forming and working with several advocacy groups.

    Graham has a personal and professional interest in native revegetation. He has been involved in a number of reforestation initiatives in Victoria, plus working with multiple stakeholders towards establishing a Strategic Plan for the Gardiners Creek Catchment.

    With a wealth of experience across sustainability, land management, and real estate, Graham brings a unique perspective to his role on Greenfleet’s voluntary board of directors.

  • Phil Moran, Director

    Phil Moran's focus is on building strong relationships that lead environmental organisations to be impactful and sustainable. With a long career within the land management and conservation space, he brings a wealth of experience to his role on the Greenfleet Board.

    With his enthusiasm for environmental protection, Phil has been a member of numerous boards and committees at state and national levels. As the General Manager of Noosa District Landcare for over 25 years, Phil’s leadership positively impacted the organisation and community at large.

    Phil has extensive experience in the conservation, land management, and environmental industry that he brings to his position as Greenfleet Director.

    Tanya Ha, Director

    Tanya Ha’s career spans science communication, environmental campaigning and broadcast journalism. As a diversity advocate, sustainability and behaviour change expert, and experienced board director, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the Greenfleet board. 

    She has been an on-air reporter for ABC TV’s Catalyst, was the ‘eco-coach’ in SBS’ Eco House Challenge, and in 2010, won a UN Association of Australia award for environmental reporting. As a
    best-selling author, Tanya’s books include Greeniology, The Australian Green Consumer Guide and Green Stuff for Kids.

    As well as working with Greenfleet, Tanya is currently Engagement Director at Science in Public and a board member of Westernport Water. She also serves on the advisory board of the Marine Energy Research Centre and the Leonardo Group of Science Gallery Melbourne.

  • Andrew Saunders, Director

    Andrew Saunders is the General Manager Conservation at the City of Gold Coast. He is a seasoned environment and sustainability professional with experience spanning sustainable finance, conservation, environmental markets, and strategic partnerships across public and private sectors.

    He has experience across both private and public organisations including large multinationals and listed ASX companies. He played a key role in the establishment of the Queensland Natural Capital Fund that focused on generating returns for investors alongside environmental outcomes including carbon, biodiversity and water quality.

    Andrew has an Arts Degree with a Double Major in International Relations and a Master of Environmental Management from the University of Queensland.

  • Digby Hall, Director

    Digby Hall is a sustainability strategist and registered architect with over 30 years in the Australian built environment. As Founder and Director of Climatewise Design, he advises boards, executives and government on Net Zero strategy and climate risk & adaptation.

    Alongside his corporate advisory work, he manages a certified organic and regenerative farm in Tasmania. This lived experience as a producer grounds his understanding of land stewardship and the realities facing farmers.

    Digby holds an Executive MBA (UNSW AGSM), a Bachelor of Architecture and the GAICD qualification, and has completed Oxford's Climate Emergency Program. He has served on NFP boards, contributes to the Foundation for Rural Regional Renewal's climate advisory committee, and is a regular speaker at national forums, including a TEDx talk on food systems and climate action.

  • Melissa Scardino, Director

    Melissa Scardino is a passionate executive, board director and solicitor with significant expertise leading the strategic, commercial, legal, governance and risk functions of organisations.

    Through her current roles in Evolve Housing as Group General Manager, Growth, Governance and Legal, and Group Company Secretary, she works to improve the lives of Australians by advocating for housing accessibility, affordability, and quality.

    Melissa is also the Deputy Chair of Gutherie House and was previously Chair of the Board of the Aboriginal Women and Children’s Crisis Service.

    She has worked in organisations such as Stockland and Challenger, in private practice as a lawyer, in agriculture, and in the NSW Government. She is a people-focused leader, who prioritises the needs and well-being of her team, creating a positive and supportive work environment.
