About Greenfleet

Greenfleet is an environmental not-for-profit organisation that has delivered climate action for
over 25 years. We are Australia’s first carbon offset provider and protect our climate by restoring native forests.

Greenfleet plants native biodiverse forests in Australia and New Zealand to restore
nature and capture carbon emissions on behalf of our supporters.

As they grow, these forests help fight the impacts of climate change, improve soil and water quality, and restore habitat for native wildlife, including many endangered species.

Our partnerships with local communities and Traditional Owners support broad
benefits for the country and communities in which we live and work.

Greenfleet's Impact in 2023

Our Vision

To grow enduring hope.

Our Purpose

To remove carbon and restore nature.

Our History

While our forests and supporters have continued to grow in number and impact over our 25 years, we remain true to our initial commitment of taking practical action on climate change.

Statement Following The Voice Referendum

Greenfleet supported Indigenous constitutional recognition through a Voice to Parliament and consulted extensively with our staff, our board, and many of our partners, including across our networks with First Nations people to develop that position. We were deeply saddened by the result of the referendum.

Despite the result, Greenfleet firmly believes that First Nations engagement is a crucial step in restoring Australia’s ecosystems and we remain committed to advancing reconciliation. Our focus is on growing hope for our environment, Country, and communities.

We respect that we are working with, and learning from, the oldest continuous cultures and longest standing land managers on Earth. We recognise that climate action aligns with reconciliation actions, and we will continue to listen to First Nations voices as we work towards a better future.

Together, we can grow hope.
