Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses is a 100% family owned and proudly Australian business with over 39 franchised bakery outlets across Victoria. We have been monitoring our greenhouse emissions for the past 8 years and we are committed to reducing our emissions wherever possible.

Environmental sustainability has been a key feature in our recent investment in a state of the art new baking facility in Keilor Park, Victoria. It features ground-breaking initiatives including hot water generation for cake production using heat reclaimed from refrigeration plant, installation of SCADA energy monitoring for real-time assessment of energy consumption, Victoria's first hybrid diesel delivery truck and rainwater tanks (120,000 litres) for toilet flushing, irrigation and truck washing.

Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses have committed to offsetting any remaining greenhouse emissions from their new bakery site by supporting native tree planting through Greenfleet. This is a small but very significant step in the right direction to ensure we all have a cleaner, greener future.
