Amazing before and after photos of one of our Victorian reforestation projects

These before and after satellite images demonstrate the striking impact our reforestation work has in the Kamarooka State Park, Victoria.

This revegetation project is absolutely sensational! Located within the Greater Bendigo National Park, the State Park is regarded as one of the most important conservation areas in Victoria. Of the 360 different plant species have been recorded in the park, 19 are listed as rare or threatened in Victoria. Over 170 different species of birds are recorded within the park and five of them are listed as rare or threatened along with four species of mammal and reptile.

Between 2007 and 2011, we worked with Parks Victoria to revegetate this bare patch. After a rough start, the forest is now growing well and is extending wildlife habitat as well as preserving the rare flora and fauna species from the region.

This is another stunning example of the impact our supporters' carbon offset‬ donations have on the ground. THIS, right there, is what we call real and tangible climate action. So spread the word and share this post so that more and more Australians join us to offset their carbon emissions and restore our landscape: www.greenfleet.com.au/offset
